Eva Schütz studied law, and in addition she also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Schütz worked as a lawyer and is a member of the supervisory board at Volksbank and ÖBB. From 2018 to 2019, the mother of two worked in politics, including as Deputy Head of Cabinet of the Finance Minister and as a member of the ÖVP government negotiation team for justice. The wife of entrepreneur Alexander Schütz has also had a sporting career: In 2012 she became national champion in the 3.000 and 10.000 meters. In March 2021, Schütz founded, together with Richard Schmitt, the online media project eXXpress, which includes an online newspaper and, since June 2021, also a TV Channel called eXXpress TV, available online and on national cable TV.
